(SACRAMENTO, CA) –Today,Assemblymember David Alvarez (D-San Diego), voted in favor of AJR 23 (Boerner Horvath/Garcia), a resolution that commemorates the 50^th anniversary of the enactment of Title IX. Title IX prohibits sex-based discrimination in any school or any other education program that receives funding from the federal government.
