AB678 Biomethane Procurement Standards
"Today, the Assembly passed my Assembly Bill 678 to support clean energy. In 2015, California became the first state to establish a Renewable Gas Standard (RGS). Biomethane is a renewable energy source, and this bill will support the state’s net zero emission goals by requiring all gas suppliers to include biomethane."
