Buying your first home can be a daunting task for many families. That is why I am excited to be hosting a first-time homebuyer workshop in National City in February. Whether you are just starting to explore homeownership or looking for guidance, this workshop will provide valuable information and experts to help walk you through the process. Event will include state-approved lenders, financial advisors and real estate agents that can help you access various assistance programs for first-time buyers.

The following documentation is required to confirm eligibility for assistance programs:

  • One current pay stub
  • One year-end pay stub
  • Two W2 or 1099 forms for 2022 and 2023 (if applicable)
  • Photo ID
  • For self-employed or business owners with 1099 income: Please bring 2023 and 2022 Federal Income Taxes with all schedules (not California) for business and personal taxes.
