(Sacramento)  – Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher (D-San Diego), Vice Chair of the California Latino Legislative Caucus was joined by immigrant rights organizations and leaders of the Legislative Black, Women’s, Asian/Pacific Islander, LGBT and Jewish Caucuses in denouncing the Trump Administration policies that rip families apart at the border. The leaders also encouraged participation in the “National Day of Action for Children.” “It’s cruel. It’s inhumane,” said Assemblywoman Gonzalez Fletcher. “As a mother I can not imagine making a trek to this country to try to present myself for asylum and having my baby snatched from me.” Watch more her remarks in this Assembly Access  video.
