Activist, Musician Ramon Chunky Sanchez Memorialized in State Assembly
(Sacramento) – Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher (D-San Diego) joined the chorus of support for Planned Parenthood as the State Assembly approved House Resolution 5, a measure praising the critical health care services the organization has provided for 100 years. Planned Parenthood has 115 health centers in California that serve almost one million men and women each year. Assemblywoman Gonzalez Fletcher pointed out there are fewer abortions in the U.S. because of the services provided by Planned Parenthood. She also recounted her personal connection to Planned Parenthood from her days as a college student. Here’s more in this Assembly Access video.
