SACRAMENTO  – (Monday, February 26, 2018) – California State Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher (D-San Diego) issued the following statement on today’s U.S. Supreme Court hearing in the case of Janus v. AFSCME.

“Once again, right-wing billionaires are trying to pull the rug out from under working families who aspire to reach the middle class and attain the American Dream. I hope the Supreme Court will see this case for what it is: a vicious attack on our economy and against the very foundation of organized labor, which fights every day to help working people earn decent wages, support their families, and have a basic standard of living.”
